First Aid/CPR Care Initiator Course
First aid and CPR training course will provide lay responders with the knowledge and skills necessary to give care in case of emergency, help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury and / or sudden illness until medical help arrives.
Course will provide instruction for:
- Two year CPR Certification
- Choking
- Rescue Breathing & PPE
- Control Bleeding
- Illness assessment & Treatment
- Bloodborne Pathogens Hazards
- Good Samaritan laws
- AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
- Treatment of Shock
- Injury Assessment & Treatment
Satisfies OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151. Instruction will be provided with video, text and hands on training. Students will receive student guide and certification card at the time of training.
Classes can be scheduled for up to 10 people per instructor.
